Technical Consultant – Structural Heart (UK - North)

Our Client’s Structural Heart (SH) team is advancing care with our Transcatheter Aortic Valves (TAVI – Evolut platform) and Transcatheter Pulmonic Valves (TPV – Melody). We are seeking a Technical Consultant to support our UK team, with a focus on the North region.
Your Role: What You will Do
As a Technical Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional clinical and technical support during TAVI and TPV procedures. You will educate and guide clinical teams, enabling the best possible outcomes for patients while enhancing our client’s reputation in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on clinical support in cath labs/theatres for TAVI and Melody procedures.
- Assist in pre-op planning, valve loading, intra-op guidance, and post-op review.
- Deliver expert education and technical training to physicians, nurses, and technicians.
- Act as a key technical resource across the UK & Ireland, offering pre- and post-implant support.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Market Development teams to support strategic goals.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, especially clinical key opinion leaders.
- Support the launch of new therapies and products in the Structural Heart portfolio.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and customer feedback using CRM platforms.
- Attend national and regional meetings, as required.
What You will Bring
Must-Haves
- Experience working in cardiac cath lab or surgical operating environments
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
- Valid UK driving licence
- Customer-focused mindset
Nice-to-Haves
- Background as a TAVI Nurse Specialist, Registered Nurse (Cardiac), or Echocardiographer
- Experience in medical devices, particularly in cardiology or TAVI
- Familiarity with 3Mensio for case planning
- Previous experience in training or education
- Understanding of the UK cardiology market
