Job Purpose/Overview:

Responsible for delivering Medical Information services to customers, patients, and/or healthcare professionals, in order to respond to enquiries providing drug/medical device product information.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Professionally, effectively, and accurately responds to technical and Medical Information enquiries, received in a variety of formats, in reference to specific client products and/or therapy areas. 

  • Accurately identify, document, and triage Medical Information enquiries, Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints.

  • Analyse questions, research and formulate responses to enquiries to provide timely, accurate and concise response using client-approved resources in both written and verbal format.

  • Record all enquiries and responses, accurately collecting information required by individual programs and correctly capturing in organisational and/or Client systems.

  • Comply with organisational, Client and regulatory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.
  • Effectively support Medical Information, Adverse Event and product Quality Complaint follow-up, retrieval, and outcome management processes.
  • Maintain excellent quality and productivity standards for all client programs.
  • Display flexibility within department to maximize utilization, including support for others in team e.g., buddy support/training, performing administrative and non-telecommunication duties, as needed.
  • Ensure strict adherence to data privacy regulations, including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA, by implementing robust data protection protocols and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, or higher
  • Ability to speak, read and write a language(s) fluently (additional to English) would be preferable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Enjoy working proactively with the ability to work towards deadlines
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow process diligently
  • Good interpersonal skills and relationship building capability
  • Strong work ethic
