We are really excited to be recruiting for a quality assurance /  quality inspector position to join this friendly driven & highly professional team within a growing and dynamic company who have 4 key areas of expertise. This role is to be working across all areas of their business. The QA / QI will be to join a team of five other quality assurance/  quality inspectors who collectively have a longevity of over 15 years with our client and the role has arisen due to an internal promotion

Some of the tasks include :-

The assessment of incoming raw materials and components under Quarantine.
QA record review.
Sampling of ingredients and components
Receipting, inspection and releasing of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient),
Review of batch documentation, Certificate of Analysis / Conformity (COA / COFCs), data logger data, stability data and coordinating with internal departments and suppliers / clients
Initiation, review and management to close out of Change controls, deviations, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), Supplier Notifications (SN).
Identifying and implementing improvement actions
Supporting the Quality Assurance department with any other duties as required


You will receive thorough training and on boarding and during the interview process you will have the unique opportunity to be shown around the site which is based in Leicestershire. The role is diverse to say the least and you’ll be working with other internal stakeholders and departments within the site buildings. You will be dealing with highly sensitive materials and the big focus is that the patients are at the heart of what they do as the ultimate end user.
