Account Manager South Veterinary Business Companion Animals

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities


·         Achieve the sales goals set for the territory in terms of visits, sales objectives, sales growth and market share

·         Set up a SAP (sales action plan) together with the line manager, with support of the marketing and technical team, with a call plan & activity plan in line with the tactical plan. You are responsible for execution of your plan.

·         Continuous maintenance of your CRM customer database; Identification and profiling of the individual key customers (vets and assistants); Apply the segmentation principles to the targeted customers

·         Understand the needs and expectations of the key customers whilst promoting the portfolio, make selling propositions by helping them understand products superior qualities relative to the competition

·         Fulfill customer requests for information and/or expertise by coordinating with the appropriate resources within the team

·         Identify partnership opportunities in the form of programs, staff meetings, congresses….

·         Participate in team presence and activities during exhibitions

·         Client visits in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg are limited to 1 or 2 days per month. Possibility to stay overnight.

Required education


General degree: Applied sciences, veterinarian or Bachelor BA

Specific education: Sales skills training


Required experience


Minimum 3-4 years sales experience in the veterinary pharmaceutical market or comparable


Languages


French: native proficiency

Dutch: professional working proficiency

English: professional working proficiency


Location


Region Brussels, Walloon Brabant, Hainaut, (part of) Namur & Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Living in the region is a must
