We require a driven and determined individual to work as a Medical Sales Representative working within the therapy area of Respiratory for our client. Our client is a leading European pharmaceutical company, based in Parma, Italy, with affiliates throughout Europe, and in the US, Brazil and Pakistan. They are dedicated to the research, development and commercialisation of ethical, therapeutic products. 

In the role of Key Account Manager, you will serve as the primary contact for our clients’ customers, collaborating to develop solutions that meet both their needs and those of our client. Your responsibilities will include promoting our client’s respiratory Portfolio in line with the UK marketing plan and locally developed customer plans to drive revenue growth.
  
Purpose
 
- To act as single point of contact for the customer, working in partnership to facilitate the creation of solutions that meet the needs of our customers 


- Responsible for the promotion of our clients’ portfolio to key influencers and decision makers, across Primary and Secondary care, within allocated Local Health Economies (LHE).


- The KAM will facilitate market access for our clients’ portfolio, by managing and shaping the LHE, through collaboration and partnership with key stakeholders.


  
Profile


 
- Exceptional knowledge of the NHS and the NHS agendas 


- Exceptional product and disease knowledge, with the ability to communicate high level technical information. 


- Highly effective planning skills, through Key Account Management techniques.


- Strong empathy and interpersonal skills, with an ability to develop relationships across key customer groups and influence key NHS personnel at the highest levels in order to drive mutually beneficial agreements (e.g. co-created projects).


- Outstanding critical reasoning skills: capable of interpreting and subsequently using available data sources to enhance the effectiveness of customer planning. 


- Commercial acumen with a proven track record in commercialising pharmaceutical products.


- Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points for new entrants) 


- ABPI examination
