Job role – Homecare Clinical Nurse Advisor

Location: Field-based – Rugby & surrounding areas
Contract: Permanent, full time

Hours: 40 hours per week

We are recruiting a Clinical Nurse Advisor to join our Patient Solutions team. This is a field-based role supporting patients, carers, and healthcare professionals through high-quality clinical care, education, and service delivery across home, community, and clinical settings.

This role is ideal for a confident, self-driven nurse who enjoys autonomy, patient interaction, and delivering care that genuinely improves outcomes.

You will work across agreed programmes, providing education, clinical support, audit activity, and service review, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

Clinical & Operational Delivery

  • Deliver clinical care in line with Service Operating Procedures.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers
  • Deliver care in patients’ homes or other approved establishments
  • Support follow-up appointments where required
  • Maintain and manage all equipment and materials provided
  • Work independently, using initiative to manage workload effectively
  • Attend team meetings, conferences, and training sessions as required

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals across hospital, homecare, and community settings
  • Deliver services in line with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Identify, manage, and report adverse events in line with policy
  • Complete all service documentation accurately and on time
  • Ensure timely administration, including activity reporting and expenses

Quality, Compliance & Governance

  • Complete all mandatory, programme-specific, and client training
  • Maintain compliance with Inizio Engage SOPs, SeOPs, and company policies
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions
  • Maintain professional registration and ongoing CPD (including NMC/NMBI revalidation)
  • Adhere to pharmacovigilance, safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Comply with NMC Code / NMBI standards and ABPI / IPHA Codes of Practice

What we’re looking for

Essential

  • Current NMC or NMBI registration
  • Minimum 1 years post-registration nursing experience
  • Full UK or Irish driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills (face-to-face, telephone, and written)
  • Strong organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Competent with Microsoft Office applications
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and customer service
  • Satisfactory enhanced DBS (or equivalent) and pre-employment medical checks

Desirable

  • Degree-level education or equivalent
  • Post-registration qualification in a relevant therapy area
