Overall Job Purpose
As a diabetes Territory Business Manager (TBM), you will play a key role in driving success for an exciting Diabetes portfolio across your territory. You’ll work with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key NHS stakeholders to deliver real impact for patients living with diabetes. This opportunity is ideal for ambitious individuals, whether you’re an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional, a healthcare professional (e.g. Clinical Pharmacist, Physician Associate) looking to transition into industry, or a recent graduate ready to make your mark in a commercial healthcare role. Full training, development, and ongoing support will be provided.
TBMs are responsible for identifying and maximising business opportunities within key accounts, using customer and healthcare system insight to develop and deliver a local strategy aligned with the overall brand plan. You’ll work closely with your Key Account Manager and cross-functional colleagues to gain formulary access and support guideline inclusion, while ensuring every interaction helps make life better for patients with diabetes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a territory business plan that reflects local NHS priorities and customer needs.
- Deliver and exceed sales and new patient start targets through effective customer engagement across multiple channels (face-to-face, virtual, meetings, and digital tactics).
- Build strong and lasting partnerships with HCPs and local healthcare decision makers.
- Collaborate with Regional Business Managers, Key Account Managers (KAMs), and Medical colleagues to deliver an integrated approach and optimise outcomes.
- Develop deep understanding of the diabetes therapy area and product portfolio, supported by structured training and ongoing learning.
- Demonstrate integrity, compliance, and a patient-first mindset in every interaction.

- Full UK Driving Licence.
- ABPI qualification desirable — training will be provided if not yet achieved.
