Ashfield are delighted to be working with a top Respiratory company to recruit several Respiratory Specialists Direct to Headcount. The purpose of the role is to ensure market acceptance for our client's products, within the allocated Local Health Economy (LHE) by working across varied levels of the NHS, and grow market share, through the effective implementation of local account plans. To co-ordinate all key stakeholders, gaining commitment and ensuring implementation at PCO, CCG and selected GP practice level.
To liaise and collaborate with colleagues to build an effective business strategy for the region.

Responsibilities include ( but not limited to ) 

* Develop strategic customer account plans to deliver required business growth (revenues and market share) for allocated Region, in line with Marketing plans.
* Support and/or utilise the resource of others to ensure sales opportunities are maximised, including but not limited to, working with Respiratory Specialists and territory Account Executives
* Analyse market activity and trends and share with colleagues/other departments.
* Encourage medication reviews across the LHE, collaborating with appropriate influencers (eg Payers, Secondary Care Opinion Leaders, and appropriate Primary Care customers).
* To influence target customers and to establish and maintain long term commercial partnerships.
* To fully implement strategic marketing initiatives and support pre-launch activity.
* To identify commercial opportunities for the organisation through effective business planning and the development of financially sound business proposals.
* To display high levels of knowledge about the companies Respiratory Portfolio and the structures and priorities of NHS customers.
* To effectively plan and prioritise weekly activities and ensure the Regional Business Manager is aware of schedules.
* Ensure all administration is completed accurately and within time-scales set out by Regional Business Manager and Head Office eg maintains accurate customer records.
* To drive awareness of the Respiratory Portfolio by adhering to agreed activity targets.
* To manage a promotional budget to achieve sales targets set out in the business plan.
* Adhere to all regulations contained in the ABPI Code of Practice and fully comply with company policies and procedures (SOPs).
* In line with annual objectives, contribute and support the UK Affiliate in its pursuit to become more sustainable, ensuring that you and/or your teams commit to and deliver at least 2 initiatives each year

Profile

* Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to develop long term relationships at all levels across the LHE.
* Have an outstanding understanding of the NHS and the NHS agenda.
* Able to influence key NHS personnel at the highest levels in order to drive mutually beneficial agreements.
* Able to identify and develop long term partnerships with key customers who can influence uptake of products across a LHE through Medicines Management projects, treatment guidelines, formularies and care pathways.
* High level of commercial acumen with a proven track record in commercialising pharmaceutical products.
* Strong account management and business planning skills, including ability to produce business proposals/cases and to support or input in to marketing strategies or initiatives.
* Able to work in a matrix management environment.
* Administration of the procurement and tendering process.
* Critical reasoning skills: capable of interpreting and subsequently using available data sources to enhance the effectiveness of territory planning and develop robust business proposals/account plans.
* Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the use of databases
* ABPI Qualified
* Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points for new entrants)
