  • Provide expert guidance on the safe use and interpretation of monitoring equipment and associated therapies.
  • Develop and maintain evidence-based training materials, elearning modules, and competency assessments.
  • Support onboarding and upskilling of homecare staff, ensuring adherence to best practice and regulatory standards.

Homecare Nursing

  • Provide direct patient care in the home setting, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of long-term conditions.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot monitoring devices, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
  • Educate patients and families on condition management, equipment use, and self-care.
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.
  • Report adverse events, incidents, and escalate clinical concerns in line with policy.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Current NMC registration (Adult or Paediatric).
  • Minimum 2 years’ post-registration nursing experience, ideally with exposure to homecare or community settings.
  • Proven experience with clinical monitoring equipment (set-up, troubleshooting, training).
  • Clinical training, mentorship, or education experience (formal or informal).
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North of England.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt information to diverse audiences.

Desirable

  • Additional qualifications in CVAD care, parenteral nutrition, or disease-specific therapies.
  • Experience in virtual/remote patient support.

Key Competencies

  • Patient-focused, compassionate, and clinically confident.
  • Skilled at both independent work and collaborative team engagement.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to juggle training schedules and patient visits.
  • Confident in using technology to deliver education and monitor patient outcomes.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive salary and excellent benefits (private medical insurance, pension, life insurance).
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
  • Company car, fuel card, and lunch allowance.
  • Flexible working with a balance of face-to-face visits and virtual support.
  • Ongoing professional development including safeguarding, infection prevention, and BLS training.
  • A varied and rewarding role—combining education, clinical expertise, and meaningful patient impact.
