Role Purpose:


As a Key Account Manager in the Cardiovascular therapeutic area, you will play a critical role in driving brand performance and strengthening strategic relationships within the secondary care setting. Employed by Inizio Engage and representing a globally renowned pharmaceutical company, you will be responsible for delivering sustainable business growth through effective account management, tailored customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to improve patient outcomes.


Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with brand objectives, including organizing customer events, marketing initiatives, and impactful sales presentations.

·         Deliver on agreed sales targets, performance metrics, and productivity KPIs within allocated budgets and timelines.

·         Provide high-level support to Key Accounts and Hospital Networks, including facilitating market access, patient identification and referral pathways.

·         Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of the cardiovascular therapeutic areas, specifically heart failure as well as priority products and treatment pathways.

·         Stay current with product updates, key messaging, customer needs, competitor activity, and wider market developments.

·         Ensure optimal coverage and engagement with healthcare professionals through multichannel communication strategies.

·         Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with key internal & external stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.

·         Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team culture while embracing innovation, accountability, and shared success.


Requirements & Qualifications:

·         Proven experience in a secondary care sales role, preferably within the cardiovascular or related specialty areas.

·         Deep understanding of the UK healthcare landscape, with demonstrable NHS experience.

·         Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven approach to sales.

·         Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.

·         Demonstrates a highly engaging, customer-centric mindset.

·         Committed to delivering patient-focused solutions.

·         Collaborative team player with a track record of successful cross-functional engagement.
