Inizio Engage is partnering with AstraZeneca, a global, innovation-driven biopharmaceutical company, to recruit a Graduate Clinical Sales Specialist in Scotland.

The Role


As a Graduate Clinical Sales Specialist, you will promote AstraZeneca’s respiratory products to healthcare professionals in primary care.


This is a development-focused position, offering structured training, ongoing coaching, and the opportunity to gain your ABPI qualification. You will learn how to engage customers both face-to-face and virtually, using a range of digital tools.


Key Responsibilities


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals

  • Deliver effective sales calls across face-to-face and virtual platforms

  • Support territory and account plans to meet performance goals

  • Develop strong clinical and product knowledge

  • Use omnichannel tools to engage customers effectively

  • Work towards achieving sales and market share targets

  • Ensure compliance with the ABPI Code of Practice

Essential Skills & Experience


  • Degree (science-related preferred but not essential) or equivalent

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Interest in healthcare, science, and sales

  • Resilient, proactive, and results-driven mindset

  • Confidence using digital tools and technology


Desirable (Not Essential)


  • Customer-facing or sales experience (e.g. retail, hospitality, internships)

  • Presentation or public speaking experience

  • Knowledge of the NHS or pharmaceutical industry
