For our client, an international family-owned company with ambitious growth plans in the pharmaceutical and medical device technological domain with a range of products for wound and skin care, several new products in the pipeline and research cooperation agreements in Europe and the USA.

We are looking for a Key Account Manager for the South Belgium & the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg to reinforce the Sales team. This is a permanent full-time position based in Belgium. Interested send your CV to Benelux@talent.inizioengage.com

Your responsibilities:

Key Account & KOL Management: You will be responsible for developing and managing key opinion leaders (KOLs) and strategic accounts to generate new business opportunities in South Belgium and Luxembourg. Strategic accounts include pharmacy chains, hospital networks, purchasing groups, wholesalers, large national home care organizations, etc. You need to create a key account mapping to identify and map out these important accounts.

Build and maintain strong relationships: You will establish and maintain strong relationships with regional healthcare organizations and key stakeholders within your region. You will foster collaboration, negotiate pricing and margins in line with company strategy, and ensure order placement to achieve business objectives. You will be responsible for tender and contract negotiations.

Market Insights & Strategic Decision-Making: You will stay up to date with changes in the healthcare landscape and leverage this knowledge to engage with key and strategic decision-makers. You will share these new insights/changes with internal stakeholders (other departments and the territory business managers).

Impactful Partnerships: You will initiate and manage collaborations and joint projects with international, national, and regional stakeholders to support business growth in South Belgium and Luxembourg. You will establish constructive relationships with key opinion leaders and dedicated accounts having a large impact at the national or regional level.

Commercial Expertise & Analysis: You will provide commercial expertise by gaining strategic insights through the analysis of sales, marketing, and health economic data.

Sales Strategy & ROI Analysis: You will develop sales strategies and action plans for new products and conduct ROI calculations to assess their impact.

Sales Management Support: You will support the sales manager/director in enhancing the sales team’s effectiveness, creating sales plans for existing products, and identifying new business opportunities.

Training & Knowledge Sharing: As a key advisor, you will contribute to the development and implementation of training programs to strengthen the sales team’s skills.

Your qualifications & experience:

You hold a degree in biology, pharmacy, biomedical, economics or equivalent based on relevant experience

You have 5-10 years of experience in developing relationships with clients and KOL within the pharma/medical sector

You have an in-depth knowledge of your territory, purchasing dynamics and tender procedures

You have excellent negotiation and both oral and written communication skills

You show a strong customer focus and entrepreneurial spirit

Data savvy and comfortable with numbers, you demonstrate ability to effectively use Microsoft Office, CRM system & Showpad

You are a native French speaker and you are fluent in English, the knowledge of Dutch is considered as an asset

You hold a valid Driving License

As a problem solver, you work with your line manager to find innovative approaches to resolve situations and develop your turnover
