Join us in growing our business in Spain. Ashfield, with offices in more than 27 countries and operations in more than 50, is a leader in the design and implementation of Commercial Solutions (CSO, external salesforces, external teams of MSLs or vacancy management) and Patient Solutions (Patient Support Programmes) is looking for an energetic new member of its Business Development team in Spain.
If you have demonstrable understanding of the sales process of commercial/clinical projects to pharmaceutical and healthcare companies in Spain, this could be the perfect role for you.
You are:
Trained in Health / Business related issues and have pharma business acumen
Excellent networker with established contacts in Pharma. (BUD, Marketing, Procurement)
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Track record of delivering commercial success
Strong interpersonal skills
Customer focused
Numerate and strong analytical ability
Sense of urgency and a motivation to achieve results
Sound strategist, but with proven ability to turn strategy into results
Good collaboration skills / able to work with others and gain the best solution
Proven ability to negotiate win / win commercial deals.
You will do:
Reporting to the BD Director and part of the International BDM network at Ashfield you will be responsible for:
- in or outside your network, an important part of our job is to fill in the pipeline by the proper identification of new business to win
- together with Operations Management, proposals must be feasible and well-rounded according to our customers’needs
- following Ashfield principles and guidance
- and adjusting the proposals according to their changing needs.
You must master:
- Organizational skills to respond to Requests for Information and Requests for Proposals with high quality response documents within the given timeframe.
- Competent understanding of all of Ashfield’s services offerings and how their application can benefit the commercial, or patient agenda, of our customers.
- Teamwork to work closely with established client accounts’ engagement lead at a strategic level and to have input into how they shape their resources to meet current and future needs
- First hand understanding of the challenges that our customers are undergoing to develop creative solutions to support and help our Clients meet their objectives
- Interpersonal ability and customer orientation to develop strong relationships with customers that are characterised by frequent contact with key individuals, an open dialogue which allows customers to proactively address any emerging issues
- To maintain an in depth understanding of the respective legal obligations of allocated client contract
- A strong belief that Ashfield will become a primary supplier of CSO and Patient Solutions.
You will work:
Normally at our clients’ premises, visiting and seeking business opportunities, our clients are in mainly in Madrid and Barcelona.
You will travel 20%-30% of your time.
Central Ashfield offices are in Madrid, in Las Tablas district.
