Our client is looking for a Market Access Manager to take care of Belgium and Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities will be the following:
Market Access
· Responsible for identifying optimal access pathways that lead to reimbursement in Belgium and Luxembourg
· Manage the reimbursement process and develop the pricing and reimbursement dossier.
· Align the submission strategy with internal stakeholders and support the team in drafting business cases for internal approval.
· External validation of the clinical and economic value of new product entries through 1-1 interviews and/or advisory boards in close collaboration with medical.
· Develops and maintain relationships with government, NGOs, advocacy groups, key opinion leaders and key wholesalers to generate reimbursement opportunities.
· Timely collection and submission of price information to RIZIV.
· Provide input on the forecast and support the team in drawing up a business case for internal approval.
· Brand team and field support on recently launched or newly launched products.
Contract/Tender
· Communicate and consult with stakeholders on the content of the agreement and guard that agreements meet the correct external and internal conditions and align this with stakeholders.
· Coordinate and manage the administrative tender process, collect the correct documents, signatures and assure timely submission in appropriate systems.
· Proactively inform the organization about timelines of tender procedures (start, submission, end date)
· Keep track, update, and communicate the purchase and/or public price to the internal organization and to external stakeholders.
· Monitor volumes and evaluate with the customer if agreements are adhered to and informs where actions are required.
Works cross functionally with marketing, medical and regulatory to develop value propositions for clients products
Minimum Requirements:
· Degree in health policy, health economics, life sciences or healthcare discipline
· At least 5 years of pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience
· Knowledge on Belgian Price and Reimbursement legislation and healthcare system
· Knowledge of relevant legal, compliance and regulatory requirements
· Understanding of concepts of hospital purchasing contracts and financial functions within a hospital
· Fluency in Dutch and English both orally and in writing and entry level French
· Flexible for meetings in the Netherlands, living in Antwerp is ideal for the position
· Microsoft skills and technical skills with excel
