For our client, an international family-owned company with ambitious growth plans in the pharmaceutical and medical device technological domain with a range of products for wound and skin care, several new products in the pipeline and research cooperation agreements in Europe and the USA.

We are looking for Product manager OTC Benelux.

As a Product Manager, you will have a key role in driving the success of the business for the Belgium and Luxembourg markets. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that effectively promote our products to the target audience, generate demand, and increase sales.

This position would suit you perfectly if you are driven by a desire to improve patients’ health and have the desire to make things happen.

Your responsibilities:

Act as a partner for the sales team to build a strong pipeline of opportunities

Be the commercial resource in the commercialization process to make recommendations on the progress of new projects based on the business case

Work closely with R&D and the supply chain to ensure a high success rate in bringing new products to market

Manage the product throughout its Lifecycle, this includes gathering and prioritizing product, customer requirements, defining the product vision

Define and execute all marketing, advertising, promotion plans, and communications activities

Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current competitive environment and industry trends

Analyze and report the performance of the brands and assess the ROI of marketing activities

Lead the media agency briefing based on approved yearly marketing plan, agreed brand strategy and budget, and follow the day-to-day work

Prepare and give presentations to internal and external target groups (e.g., training of the sales group on marketing material)

Manage KOL

Your qualifications & experience:

You are graduated (bachelor’s or a master’s degree) in marketing or business administration

You can demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the wound care market for Rx and OTC sectors

You are a Dutch native speaker and fluent in English and French (written and verbal)

You are customer-oriented: you are able to explore clients’ needs by carrying out market analysis and by being out in the field

You are very comfortable with numerical data and their analysis (Excel, Power BI)

You have strong planning and organization skills in order to identify and prepare the key commercial events in your markets

You have an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit and are eager to implement and take ownership of new projects

You have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization

You are willing to travel, including overnight stays
