Inizio Engage is currently recruiting an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) on behalf of our established client. This a great opportunity for a senior level MSL to join a high functioning team with a great portfolio of products. As an MSL, you'll play a critical part in establishing valuable partnerships within the medical community and healthcare systems. You will significantly contribute to our client’s success, both internally and externally, through medical education, scientific exchange, and gathering crucial medical insights.
What You’ll Do
• Serve as a trusted and credible MSL partner by engaging in scientific and medical exchange with HCPs and stakeholders.
• Participate in various activities, including proactive discussions on relevant disease areas, acting as a technical expert on company products, non-product education, and responding to inquiries.
• Operate within regulatory frameworks, presenting scientific expertise at conferences, and leading MSL-related projects.
• Contribute to Medical Affairs activities and support research and data generation initiatives.
• Lead the development of MSL activities by leveraging extensive knowledge of therapeutic areas and the competitive landscape.
• Engage with customers through face-to-face interactions and virtual/digital channels as needed
• Interact and collaborate with other internal functions like sales, value & access, and regulatory affairs as required.
Who You Are
You are a highly accomplished individual who holds significant expertise in key therapeutic areas, particularly within Medical Affairs or the pharmaceutical industry. Your career showcases excellence in MSL roles, and you possess an array of skills, encompassing scientific proficiency, comprehension of drug development, healthcare system knowledge, etc.
Required Skills
• BSc required; Advanced terminal degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP in medical specialty) preferred or equivalent experience.
• Completion of ABPI Representatives exam is desirable but not mandatory.
• Substantial experience in key therapeutic areas (Neurology, Immunology) within Medical Affairs or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrated excellence in MSL roles.
• Desirable skills include scientific experience in relevant therapeutic areas, understanding of drug development, healthcare systems, technical knowledge in Neurology/Immunology, local regulatory compliance, Investigator Initiated Studies experience, leadership/coaching, and project management expertise.
