Purpose of role: Support for Medical Affairs activities in the Nordic region, with view to extend if needed and the scope to be Nordics & Benelux and ad hoc support for North West EU if requested
Background
• The company is currently establishing its Medical Affairs presence in the Nordic region.
Current team structure:
o 1 Country Medical Head (Denmark)
o 1 Medical Science Liaison (Sweden)
o 1.5 In-house Med Ops Team (UK)
• The team requires additional support to enable greater focus on scientific time and in-field activities and reduce operational workload.
Identified Support Needs
The client is seeking support across the following Medical Affairs operational areas:
• HCP Contracting & Sponsorships
o Management of contracts and associated payouts
o Liaise with HCP/O and congress associations/providers as required to progress and finalize contracts and payments
• Contract Preparation & Compliance
o Preparation of contracts using correct templates
o Support with preparing transfer of value report for any payments made to HCPs/O for internal submission and Seqirus to review and report externally in line with local regulations.
• Vendor Onboarding Management
o Onboarding of new vendors/HCPs by supporting to complete vendor onboarding forms and liaise with vendors to request mandatory supporting documents (ex. banking info) ensuring readiness for internal submission to Procurement
• Project Management
o Planning, coordination, and tracking of activities
o Ensuring contracts are executed on time
o Liaison with internal Seqirus stakeholders
o Ensuring activities are supported in line with internal SOPs/Policies and Nordic regulations.
• Operational Support
o General Medical Affairs operational ad hoc support
Candidate Profile Requirements
The ideal support resource should have:
• Strong knowledge of local Nordic medical governance and compliance standards
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Solid project management capabilities
• Ability to collaborate closely with Seqirus Legal and Compliance teams
• Ability to navigate complex processes
• Organizational Skills
Estimated Upcoming Activities (Next 6 Months)
• Contracting of HCPs for:
o 1 Advisory Board
o 6 Educational Sponsorships
o 10–12 HCP engagements
Timeline
• Estimated Start: Beginning of July, or earlier if posible
• Initial Duration: 6 months
