Operational Project Specialist
Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch, UK (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)
Reporting to: Project Director, Patient Solutions
Role Overview
Due to continued success and growth, we are seeking an experienced Operational Project Specialist to support the operational delivery of our largest Homecare Patient Solutions service.
This is a senior operational role within the Homecare Leadership Team, responsible for enabling the effective day-to-day running of the service. The Operational Project Specialist will work closely with Clinical, Finance, People and Business Support teams to ensure operational excellence, governance, compliance, and the consistent delivery of high-quality non-clinical processes that underpin safe and effective patient services.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and coordinate non-clinical operational delivery across the service
- Ensure robust operational governance, infrastructure, and standardised ways of working
- Support performance delivery against KPIs, contractual commitments, and business objectives
- Act as the primary operational interface between Clinical, Finance, People and Business Support functions
- Provide operational insight, reporting, and assurance to inform decision-making
- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance
- Ensure operational processes support quality standards, regulatory requirements, and audit readiness
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong understanding of operational governance, infrastructure, and service coordination
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accountability
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data and drive operational improvements
- Experience working cross-functionally with a high degree of autonomy
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
- Ability to travel to the Ashby-de-la-Zouch office in line with the hybrid working requirement
