Field Medical Advisor BENELUX (M/F/X)
Location: Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Travel: Frequent travel across the Benelux region
Our client, an innovative international biopharmaceutical company committed to developing high-value therapies for patients, is currently seeking a Field Medical Advisor to strengthen its Medical Affairs team across the Benelux region.
About the Role
As a Field Medical Advisor, you will serve as a key scientific partner to healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within your territory.
You will play a critical role in building and maintaining scientific relationships while providing high-quality medical and scientific support to external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs, specialists, and other healthcare stakeholders across the Benelux region.
- Present and discuss clinical and scientific data related to the company's products and therapeutic areas.
- Gather and communicate medical insights from the field to support medical strategy and decision-making.
- Organize and participate in scientific meetings, advisory boards, and medical congresses.
- Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, and Commercial teams while ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and ethical standards.
- Support clinical research activities and investigator-initiated studies when appropriate.
Candidate Profile
Education
- Master's degree, PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Field Medical Advisor, or in a similar field-based medical affairs role.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and external scientific engagement.
- Experience working across multiple Benelux countries is considered an asset.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong scientific and medical knowledge with the ability to communicate complex clinical data effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly autonomous, proactive, and field-oriented.
- Ability to establish trusted partnerships with medical experts and stakeholders.
Languages
- Fluency in French, Dutch, and English is mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in all three languages.
