Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Develop, manage, and implement Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, Marketing Brand plans, and communications.
  • Ensure successful execution of the Group brand strategy in the local market.
  • Ensure long-term brand positioning and success of all  brands in the local market.
  • Set priorities in the development of the product portfolio.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Marketing team, which includes a Technical Manager and a Marketing Officer.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Lead the local marketing team in developing and executing the GTM and Marketing plans in alignment with Group Marketing.
  • Deliver and manage B2B multi-channel marketing activities and campaigns.
  • Conduct strategic planning of products and marketing in coordination with Group plans.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen and ability to show ROI.
  • Roll out the portfolio/brand strategy and ensure local implementation of brand plans by the sales team.
  • Provide insights and strategic steering of sales activities from a product perspective, giving feedback for new product development.
  • Generate progress reports on marketing successes, product focus, and KPI tracking to the General Manager.
  • Use strategic and commercial analysis to drive awareness and usage of differentiated products and brands.
  • Establish promotional plans for key local products.
  • Prepare products for sale, including correct packaging, forecasting, and pricing in line with current market data and  positioning.
  • Act consistently with regulations/policies, ethics, and compliance.
  • Participate in S&OP meetings to contribute to forecasting and supply, and participate in budgeting processes.


General:

  • Undertake additional tasks as defined by the Line Manager.
  • The job scope is principally within BE & NL, but occasional travel will be required. Partly home based or office based (Region West-Flanders)


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effective and decisive leader.
  • Proven experience in developing marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.
  • Proficiency in online marketing and social media strategy.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel.


Required Education:


           Minimum Bachelor’s degree.


Required Experience:


          Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical or animal health industry


Languages:

  • Dutch: native proficiency.
  • English: professional working proficiency.
