Key Account Manager Hospital Accounts - Flanders (Oncology)

About the Opportunity

Our client, an innovative international pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Hospital Key Account Manager to strengthen its team in Belgium. You will be responsible for developing business activities across Flanders, with a focus on the Oncology therapeutic area.

This strategic role is ideally suited to an experienced pharmaceutical professional eager to contribute to improving patient care through innovative therapeutic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for hospitals across your territory.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with oncologists, hospital pharmacists, medical directors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify growth opportunities and maximize the potential of hospital accounts.
  • Drive the positioning and uptake of the oncology portfolio within key treatment centers.
  • Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing teams to ensure a coordinated customer-centric approach.
  • Monitor hospital decision-making processes, tender opportunities, and market developments.
  • Achieve business objectives while ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in a scientific, healthcare, or business-related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a hospital-focused commercial role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience in Oncology is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the Belgian hospital landscape and key decision-making processes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer focus and partnership mindset.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Native Dutch speaker with a good professional command of English.
  • Knowledge of French is considered an asset.
